Cleanup Campaign at Breza’s Hrasno Picnic Area in Celebration of Earth Day
In celebration of Earth Day, FK ‘Rudar’ Breza, the Municipality of Breza, and the Adriatic Foundation, together with numerous local organizations, activists, and volunteers from the Breza community, organized a large-scale cleanup of the Makve-Hrasno picnic area.
Volunteers collected waste from multiple locations within the site, actively contributing to the preservation of the natural environment and promoting environmental awareness among the local community. Educational signs were installed at key spots to remind visitors about the importance of protecting and preserving nature.
A special highlight was an engaging eco-training session for the youngest participants, who learned about recycling and responsible environmental practices through interactive play and fun activities.
This initiative sent a clear and powerful message: we all share the responsibility to protect our planet Earth, its natural resources, and recreational areas, ensuring their beauty and richness for generations to come.
